The much-awaited trailer of the eighth and final season of HBO’s most successful show ‘Game Of Thrones‘ is finally here. The trailer gives a glimpse of all the major characters including the dragons.
The fans who were eagerly waiting for the trailer must be disappointed as it does not answer any questions but adds fuel to the fire, leaving them wanting for more.
The video starts with Arya Stark breathing heavily scared to death running away from something in the dark crypt. Later she can be seen saying “I know death”.
Throughout the trailer, all the characters are seen getting ready for the biggest fight ever, while Cersei smirking with Qyburn is sipping her wine at King’s Landing, calmly and unaffected by the winters and the White Walkers.
It concludes with gloomy expressions of the living army men as the Night King’s horse steps on the land.
According to a report in Entertainment Weekly, the sequence of Battle of Winterfell was shot over 55 consecutive nights and the episode is said to feature a battle between the Night King’s army and ‘an uneasy collection of allies’. Not only this, the episode will reunite the major characters of the series since its inception.
The last season, which was released in 2017, ended with a very exasperating cliffhanger, Jon Snow and Daenerys Stormborn, preparing for the war against the white walkers and falling for each other, in each other’s arms.
