In Aarya, we got to see a completely new side of actor, Sushmita Sen. She came back to acting after a hiatus of 5 years. The pulsating thriller series, directed by Ram Madhvani, opened to glorious reviews. Critics and fans alike, praised Sen’s performance, direction of the show and its taut script.
Those who have loved the show, should be elated now, as a second season is on the horizon. Sushmita conducted an Instagram live session with Madhvani to discuss about the show. The actor asked questions of fans about the show to the director, which have remained unanswered. In the conversation, Madhavni also revealed the second season.
Talking about it, he said, the audience needs to wait for the second season. The director and her lead of the show, further talked about Sen’s character Aarya. On the character’s role in season two, Madhvani had this to say :
“She is going to be wearing a cape this time and she is going to be in leather. In season two, like season one, she will be paying the price of what she wants.”
Critics have specifically loved the show for its theme and many have hailed it as one of the best Indian series on Disney + Hotstar.
