Janhvi Kapoor Shares Poster of ‘Good Luck Jerry’
Janhvi Kapoor shares the first look from her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry. The actress took to Instagram and wrote, “Miliye mere business partners se! Bina puche dikha diye hain aap sabko, ab kuch gadbad na hojaaye! Good luck nahi kahenge? #GoodLuckJerry streaming from 29th July on @disneyplushotstar“
Good Luck Jerry also features Deepak Dobriyal and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. The film is set to have a digital release on July 29 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. This one marks the third streaming release of Janhvi, after Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl on Netflix.
‘Good Luck Jerry’ Teaser Out!
On Wednesday, the trailer of Jahnvi Kapoor’s Good Luck Jerry was unveiled. The makers have opted for a digital release for the much-awaited dark comedy of the year.
The teaser begins with Janhvi’s cast members confronting her about a recent poster leak, and after silently listening to their complaints, she yells at them to shut up, and says, “Abhi toh sirf posters aaye hain. Ab aane waala hai trailer She then turns to the camera and asks the viewers, “Good luck nahi bolenge?”
The trailer is set to release on July 14. Helmed by Sidharth Sengupta, the film is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar. The film is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila, whose plot involved drug smuggling.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Professional Work Front
Janhvi Kapoor has various projects pipelined including Bawaal and Mr and Mrs Mahi. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Bawaal features Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. Meanwhile, the duo are currently taking a tour of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, reportedly in preparation for their roles.
The actress will also be seen alongside Rajkummar Rao for Mr and Mrs Mahi by the end of the year.
