Sukhbir

The remake of Sukhbir’s 90s’ hit song ‘Sauda Khara Khara’ will add to the long list of remakes being made in Bollywood these days. As per reports, it will be a peppy number placed inside a dance club. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan have shot a makeover version of the song for their upcoming film, ‘Good News‘.

A report published by Mumbai Mirror claimed that Akshay, Kareena, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh have shot for the song. The original song featured Bollywood’s most talked couple at the time, Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea.

DJ Chetas, who has worked on the remake, told the tabloid, “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, Karan (Johar, producer) sir, and Kareena ma’am on a film. I can’t get into the details of the track, but I can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.”

‘Good News’ is a romantic comedy which revolves around two couples facing issues with pregnancy. Kiara and Diljit started shooting for the film in November last year, while Akshay and Kareena joined the team in January this year.

After giving hits like ‘Gabbar is Back’ and ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, Kareena and Akshay will return to the silver screen.  They have impressed the viewers with their onscreen chemistry and perhaps that’s why fans can’t wait to catch the film on the big screen. This film is directed by debutante Raj Mehta under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
