‘Good Newwz’: New poster of Akshay Kumar starrer unveiled; Check out

There has been a lot of buzz around the upcoming film Good Newwz. After making the audience the excited for the film with some on set pictures and videos, the makers finally unveiled the first look posters of the movie two days ago.

While the trailer of the film will be launched at noon today, the makers have unveiled a new poster of the film to maintain the buzz. The latest poster features all the members of main cast including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosnajh, and Kiara Advani. All of them are tied together by a large animated sperm which has two red devil horns and is giving a wicked smile.

Akshay took to his social media account to share the new poster and wrote, “As you can see, we’re all in this together! #GoodNewwzTrailer out today at noon!”

Producer Karan Johar also shared the poster on his Twitter page and wrote, “Intertwined by the biggest goof-up & there’s no escape! #GoodNewwzTrailer out at noon.”

The film was earlier named “Good News” but underwent a spelling change. Karan had announced the spelling change on Akshay’s birthday in September. He wrote, “Happy birthday Akshay, we love you!!!! The GOOD NEWS is that our film #GOODNEWWZ will end the year with a bang!!!! Can’t wait for all of you to see it.”

Good Newwz is a comedy drama about two couples tryst with in-vitro fertilization. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles while Tisca Chopra, Gulshan Grover, Anjana Sukhani, Yukta Mookhey, and Auritra Ghosh also appear in supporting roles.

Interestingly, while Akshay and Kareena have worked together in a number of films before, this would be the second time Diljit and Kareena will be seen in the same film. They were previously paired opposite each other in Udta Punjab.

Directed by debutant Raj Mehta, the film is produced by Karan Johar and Kumar under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.

The film is slated to hit the screens in cinema halls on 27 December.
