Since the movie is going to depict scenes of battle, a major aspect about the film has come out now. The film contains many parts which are animates, a fact Hanks revealed on a recent virtual press conference about the film.

Three main locations are there, where the film has been shot. These are a hotel lobby, sound stage in Louisiana and the USS Kidd. Further Hanks added, “Everything else in this movie was taken from footage, in the form of plates and repurposed on the computer. So you can say that much of it is animated.”

Filmmaking is a tough task, which requires attention to the minutest of details. Authenticity, therefore becomes necessary. For reaching this stage, the makers of ‘Greyhound’, collected the seascapes from the North Atlantic. The collected shots were then repurposed for the film.
