Ranveer Singh’s ‘Gully Boy’ has done well in its first extended week because of the strong business in five metro cities of Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Pune, Kolkata, and Banglore. The movie is going strong at the box office and has now crossed the ₹100 crore mark on the eighth day of its release.

The film has made a total of ₹100.30 crore, till date. Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest box office collection of the film, and wrote, ”#GullyBoy crosses ₹100cr in *extended* Week 1… Biz divided… Metros are impressive. Driven by plexes… Mass pockets ordinary/dull… Thu ₹19.40 cr, Fri ₹13.10 cr, Sat ₹18.65 cr, Sun ₹21.30 cr, Mon ₹8.65 cr, Tue ₹8.05 cr, Wed ₹6.05 cr, Thu ₹5.10 cr. Total: ₹100.30 cr. India biz.”

‘Gully Boy’ collected ₹19.40 crores on Valentines Day, it has received an overwhelming response from the viewers as well as its critics owing to its powerful dialogues and great performances by its lead actors.

The film is an undergod story about a poor guy from Dharavi named Murad (Ranveer), whose dreams are bigger than his reality. Alia Bhatt (Safeena) is starring as Murad’s love interest and is a medical student. The movie has many layers to it, as the protagonist finds himself, his desires, and how he expresses himself through the art of poetry and rhythm (RAP).
