Gully Boy slows down on second Tuesday, collects ₹2.30 crores at the box office

Ranveer Singh‘s Gully Boy collected ₹2.30 crores net on second Tuesday at the box office. The incredible musical drama of Zoya Akhtar has earned ₹123.10 crore and has started to feel the pace because of its limited appreciation in India. The film is steady at the premium multiplexes and in metros, will cross ₹125 crores today.

The film did not grow on Sunday and observed a drop little more than the expected fall on the second Monday and Tuesday. ‘Gully Boy’ has collected approx $8.5 million which is around ₹59.52 crores from the international market.

Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to reveal the latest figures and news around the film ‘Gully Boy’, He wrote, ”#GullyBoy is steady at premium multiplexes/select metros… Will cross ₹ 125 cr today [Wed]… [Week 2] Fri 3.90 cr, Sat 7.05 cr, Sun 7.10 cr, Mon 2.45 cr, Tue 2.30 cr. Total: ₹ 123.10 cr. India biz… Crosses ₹ 200 cr *worldwide* [Gross BOC]… HIT, due to the moderate costs.”

The film is an undergod story about a poor guy from Dharavi named Murad (Ranveer), whose dreams are bigger than his reality. Alia Bhatt (Safeena) is starring as Murad’s love interest and is a medical student. The movie has many layers to it, as the protagonist finds himself, his desires, and how he expresses himself through the art of poetry and rhythm (RAP).
