If a show becomes successful, it beckons a new season. No one wants to leave it half completed. Amazon studios, have done the same with its action thriller series ‘Hanna’. The show which revolves around a 15-year-old girl having unique skills, stars Esme Creed-Miles in the lead role. It is based on the film of the same name, which released in 2011 and starred Saoirse Ronan.
The action-thriller series was released in March 2019. Since, then it has become popular with fans and critics alike. Charting its its popularity, the makers released its second season this year on July, 3.
Now, after the success of the second season too, David Farr has decided to bring it back for the third time. The writer and executive producer of the show talked about it, in an interview and said :
“I am absolutely thrilled to be able to give Hanna a third season. When we set out on this journey, I had in my mind a drama that would excavate Hanna’s past, challenge her in entirely new ways and answer the question, can she ever belong? I am truly grateful to Amazon and NBCU that we are able to continue that vision. I am also deeply indebted to Esmé Creed-Miles and to Mireille Enos for their continuing commitment and enormous talent as we take Hanna and Marissa into new and unexplored terrain. It’s going to be an exciting third act.”
While, the show continues to stream on Amazon Prime, watch out for its third season soon.
