“Haseena Parkar” is an upcoming Indian biographical crime film, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Nahid Khan. The film features Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, her real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor will be seen portraying the role of Dawood Ibrahim, and Ankur Bhatia will be playing the role of Haseena’s husband. The biopic will be based on the life of Haseena.

Talking about the movie, Haseena Parkar was living a normal family life before her husband was gunned down by men from Arun Gawli’s gang. This incident prompted her to step up and be a part of the notorious ‘D-Company’ and eventually become the Godmother of Nagpada. The movie is based on a true story on the life and times of the sister of India’s Most Wanted Man Dawood Ibrahim. The film’s tagline is, “80 cases registered yet she appeared in the court only once”, and this power permeates the teaser too.
The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 18 August 2017.
