Legendary actress Hema Malini says that she shares a very warm and a beautiful relationship along with her stepson Sunny Deol. She says that when she met with an accident in 2015, Sunny was the first one to visit and take care of her. During the launch of her book with a title ‘Beyond The Dream Girl’, which was written by Ram Kamal Mukherjee and the book will be unveiled by the actress Deepika Padukone. During the event, she even shared the unspoken chapters of her life which is her relationship along with her stepsons Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol.
Hema says everyone wonders that what kind of relationship we all are having so she clarifies that she and Sunny shares a very beautiful and a cordial relationship and moreover she says that whenever it is necessary Sunny is always there along with her husband Dharmendra. Hema also said that when she met with an accident Sunny was the first person to come to see at her home and he saw that the right doctors are there or not and he even checked that the stitches which were done on her face. She was really taken aback after seeing him that he is showing so much interest and that shows the kind of relationship they both are having.
Both the actresses were present at the event and both of them, Deepika and Hema had an interactive session where both shared that how their journey was very similar to each other and yet very different, given the fact that they were set in separate times in an ever-changing film industry. She even praised actress Deepika Padukone that she is a very talented and hardworking actress and she says that Deepika is very fortunate that she got a chance to work along with the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he has the grand budget to make a grand movie like ‘Padmavati’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. In her time she did a movie ‘Meera’ and ‘Raziya Sultana’, where the producers used to have zero budgets and her remuneration was just Rs 2000.
Deepika unveiled the cover of the book and as soon as the cover got released she started receiving video messages from the actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Jitendra, Shatrughan Sinha on her birthday and for the launch. Deepika even read the letter by Pamela Chopra, wife of the late movie maker Yash Chopra in the letter she wrote that Hema is pristine and in the long run for her career she has always shown the grace and the dignity which is only a few actresses have. Her husband Dharmendra recited a poem for her on a video message. During the event, actress’s daughter Esha Deol was also present along with her husband.
The book has been written by the editor of the Stardust and the producer Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned forewords for the Hema Malini‘s biography. Modi has written a short crisp and sweet words for the biopic titled ‘Beyond The Dreamgirl’ which an authorized biography of the actress and BJP MP Hema Malini.
