The wedding festivities began on April 13 with mehendi and sangeet functions attended by family and close friends including Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ayan Mukerji and others. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s mehendi, sangeet and haldi ceremonies took place on April 13. The functions took place in the presence of family and close friends including Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and others.
According to India Today, the sangeet function was hosted at Ranbir’s house in Bandra. Rajendra Singh choreographed the songs for the sangeet: Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali, Dholida, Cutie Pie and Tenu Leke Main Javanga.
For mehendi function, Kapoor sisters were seen clad in traditional attires. The duo sisters look gorgeous in their elegant outfits. Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a stunning silver lehenga. Apart from the duo Kapoor sisters, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were spotted in gorgeous outfits. We can clearly see Neetu Ji miss her husband as she puts ‘Rishi’ in her hand during the mehendi ritual.
