In the ongoing tussle between the actor, Kangana Ranaut, and the BMC, the actor has received support from a source. This time it is the Himachal Pradesh Commission for Women. On Thursday, they wrote to the National Women’s Panel,  asking them to take up the issue of Kangana’s “harassment”  with proper authorities.

Earlier, the Shiv Sena-controlled BMC had demolished the “illegal alterations” of Kangana’s Bandra bungalow.

Sandeep Negi, a state body Member Secretary said that they’ve taken suo moto cognizance of media reports about Kangana’s harassment. They’ve checked every report about her harassment at the hands of the BMC, Mumbai Police, and political leaders.

Further, the Himachal Panel said :

“As this is a well-known fact that Kangana Ranaut hails from Himachal Pradesh, this commission intends to take up the issue with your office for taking up the matter with appropriate authorities.”

The Maharashtra State Commission for Women has also received a copy of the letter.
