Reality shows help kids decide their profession early: Himesh Reshammiya1

Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Arijit Singh are very popular singers today. The common thing among them is that they all participated in television singing shows before making it big in Bollywood. Joining the league of such big names, we have a new name today.

Sunny Hindustani, a participant in the ongoing season of the singing contest show Indian Idol, has been signed by the well known singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror. Reshammiya, who recently replaced music director Anu Malik as a judge in the show, has signed Sunny for a song in the upcoming film of director Rajkumar Santoshi.

While shooting for the upcoming episode, Sunny performed on the song “Sanu Ek Pal Chain” and impressed Reshammiya so much that he immediately signed him. The composer who has a number of popular songs to his credit told the surprised contestant that he has been a follower of the show and has heard him singing on television several times. But it is listening to him live that has made Reshammiya fall for Sunny’s singing even more.

“The honesty with which you sing is clearly visible in your eyes and I advise you to not lose it. This is what is going to make you successful,” the composer told the bemused singer.

This week the talent hunt show celebrates the era of the ’90s, and popular singers from that decade, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal would come as special guests on the show.
