Chulbul Pandey is back and how! The trailer of Dabangg 3 created a lot of buzz among Salman Khan’s fans. Everyone waited with a baited breath to hear their favorite number “Hudd Hudd Dabangg”s’ new version.

The song that was launched on November 14 is now garnering more attention as Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, a Hindu organisation, has raised their objection on the song and has appealed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to not review the film.

Directed by Prabhudeva, the film is a prequel and shows Chulbul Pandey’s coming of age. Shot on the ghats of Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, the song shows Khan dancing with the holy saints. This didn’t go well with the Samiti. From the Samiti’s Maharashtra and Jharkhand branch, Sunil Ghanwat questioned the makers, “Sadhus have been shown dancing with Salman Khan in a hideous and objectionable manner. As a result, the religious sentiments of all Hindus have been hurt. The way in which Salman Khan has degraded Sages, will he dare to show Mulla-Maulavi or Father-Bishop dancing similarly?”

However, the same song shows Khan taking blessings from the men dressed as hindu deities Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh but guess how would Samiti care!
The film is the third installment in the successful Dabangg franchise. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha, debutant Saiee Manjrekar and Sudeep in pivotal roles. Produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi, the film is slated to release on 20 December, 2019.
