The small screen heartthrob Hiten Tejwani is about to make his debut in the digital world with a web series ‘The Investigation’ which will be released on Eros Now. Hiten has worked in over 20 TV shows including a reality show Big Boss season 11 and in nine Hindi films so far.
The actor is playing ACP Vishal Gaikwad in the series and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actress Leena Jumani will be seen as his wife Swati. The series also features Aryamann Seth in the role of Anuj, whose murder mystery is being unraveled in the series.
The synopsis of the trailer reads, “What happens when an officer investigates a case that changes his life forever?”
The actor is married to his co-star Gauri Pradhan Tejwani and has twins Nevaan and Katya with her. He tried his luck in Bollywood first and appeared on screen in Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Vaastav’ as a goon, he was left uncredited for his role. He later appeared in films like ‘Joggers Park’, ‘Krishna Cottage’ and ‘Shorgul’ but he was mainly focussed on television. He became a popular household name after his portrayal as Pratham in family drama ‘Kutumb’.
Leena is not new to this digital world. She had earlier appeared as the lead role in Vikram Bhatt’s Maaya 2 opposite Priyal Gor.
Tejwani is currently filming for Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’. He is playing the role of Ahmed in the film.
