Hollywood movies releasing on 29 March

It’s a jackpot for the Hollywood movie lovers as not one or two but six English language films dubbed in Hindi are releasing in India this Friday. Two of them viz, ‘The Least Of These’ and ‘Hotel Mumbai’ is based on real-life incidents.

Dumbo:

The live-action film ‘Dumbo’ brings to life the 1941 animated film of the same name. The film is being directed by Tim Burton, who also directed 2010’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

The film is about a baby elephant, who due to his exceptionally large ears is bullied by other elephants in the struggling circus. But as the circus owners find out that it can fly using his ears, they plan to make a majestic comeback on the stage.

The film features Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin.

Final Score:

The film is a British-American action thriller film directed by Scott Mann and written by David T. Lynch and Keith Lynch. It stars Dave Bautista, Ray Stevenson, and Pierce Brosnan.

‘Final Score’ has been already released in the US and now it is all set to hit Indian theatres.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Believing his traitorous brother Dimitri (Pierce Brosnan) is somewhere in the stadium, Arkady (Ray Stevenson), the former leader of a revolution in the Russian state of Sukovia, locks down the Boleyn Ground during the European semi-final between West Ham United and Dynamo FCC. In the crowd with his niece, Danni (Lara Peake), is US-veteran Mike Knox (Dave Bautista), who stumbles upon the plot and goes about taking out Arkady’s heavily armed team. Can he get to Arkady before Arkady gets to Dimitri? The fate of 35,000 people inside the stadium – and many more in Russia – depends on it…”

The Least Of These:

English language film ‘The Least Of These’ based on the true story of an Australian missionary martyred in India in 1999 will hit theatres this Friday.

It centers the life of Graham Staines who was killed while helping patients along with his two sons in India.

The film stars Stephen Baldwin, Shari Rigby, and Bollywood star Sharman Joshi in lead roles. Aneesh Daniel is the director of the movie.

Hotel Mumbai:

The American-Australian thriller film ‘Hotel Mumbai’ directed by Anthony Maras, is based on 2009 documentary ‘Surviving Mumbai’.

The film features Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, Anupam Kher, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Jason Isaacs, Suhail Nayyar, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

The synopsis reads, “HOTEL MUMBAI is based on the true story of the devastating terrorist attack on the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in 2008. The terrifying assault brings together the guests and staff of the luxurious hotel including wealthy new parents David and Zahra (Armie Hammer and Nazanin Boniadi), Russian businessman Vasili (Jason Issacs) and newly promoted waiter Arjun (Dev Patel) in a desperate fight for survival. This story celebrates humanity, compassion, courage, resilience and the unwavering desire to survive.”

Us:

The American horror film is written and directed by Jordan Peele. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly

It is a Japanese anime martial arts action film directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and written by Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama. The film is the twentieth Dragon Ball feature film overall, the third film produced with Toriyama’s direct involvement, and the first to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding.
