A good mystery thriller requires a solid storyline and a screenplay that keeps the audience on their toes. But a good film of any genre is incomplete without its lead. Ant Timpson the director of the upcoming mystery thriller, The Salamander Lives Twice has got his lead pair.
The Pianist’s Adrien Brody and The Conjuring fame, Vera Farmiga are the actors who will lead the film.
As per Deadline, the film is based on a story which Timpson and Toby Harvard came with, while Harvard wrote it down.
The film is about a man(Adrien Brody)who gets injured and is found with a briefcase on the shoreline of a remote island. While he is found by Iris and her daughter Goggy (Farmiga). Both are the last members of a family dynasty which used to be wealthy back in the day.
Producing the film is Emma Slade for Firefly Films, Katie Holly representing Blinder Films. XYZ Films and Ant Timpson serve as executive producers.
On the other hand, XYZ Films is also handling the film’s sale in the international market.
Adrien Brody became the youngest Oscar winner for Best Actor at the age of 29, with the 2002 holocaust film ‘The Pianist’. Since receiving acclaim for the film, he has established himself as a terrific performer in Hollywood.
While Vera Farmiga became famous for portraying Lorraine Warren in the Conjuring film franchise. Her other films include Up in the air, Higher Ground, and The Departed among others.
A solid lead pair like them is certainly going to attract an audience and make this film one of the most anticipated Hollywood films when it nears its release.
