There is an array of bad health news going around in Bollywood nowadays. Yesteryear several Bollywood celebs, including Sonali Bendre and Irrfan Khan, were diagnosed with different types of cancer and they went abroad for the treatment. This year also started with one such bad news.
Famous actor Hrithik Roshan shared the news of his father, Rakesh Roshan’s diagnosed cancer on his social media account. He revealed that Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago.
The actor posted a heartwarming photo with his father flaunting their muscles in a gym on Tuesday on Instagram and wrote, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn’t miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family, we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him… Love you Dad.”

Last year Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer. She was in New York for the treatment for over four months. Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer and he is still under recovery in London. Nafisa Ali was also diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in the month of November last year.
There are few heroes also who battled and won the war against cancer. Manisha Koirala, Yuvraj Singh, Lisa Ray, Anurag Basu are few of them.
Rajesh Khanna, Nargis Dutt, Aadesh Shrivastva, Vinod Khanna are the ones who lost their lives fighting cancer.
