War has turned out to be an extremely successful film of all times in Bollywood. The film is has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark and still growing so much so that speculations are being made about its sequel. “War 2” is already trending on Twitter.
War was made on a budget of Rs 170 crores, Rs 150 crores cost of production and Rs 20 crores for the cost of prints and publicity. The film is expected to earn Rs 310 crores at the domestic box office. Given this estimated lifetime revenue from the box office, the makers of the film are expected to make 139.5 crores as the distributor share from the domestic business, Rs 40.5 crores from the overseas markets and another Rs 150 crores from the sale of the film’s satellite and digital rights.
The makers of the film stand to make a profit of Rs 170 crores with almost 100 % return on investment.
The film has proved to be a commercial milestone in the careers of Hrithik Roshan as well as Tiger Shroff. Hrithik who was seeing a tough time at the box office saw some success with his previous 2019 release Super 30 and with War he is breaking his own records.

According to reports available online, Hrithik Roshan signed the contract with Yash Raj Films for War where he would be a partner in profits.
With his 30 crores remuneration and 40% share in profits, Hrithik Roshan is expected to walk away with approximately 98 crores as his share of monies.
