During the recent interview for the BBC World News, the actress expressed her opinion on the whole controversy that is revolving around her upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’. The episode will go on air on Saturday. When asked the actress that does she would like to get the better protection from the state? On this, Deepika Padukone said that in an ideal world obviously yes but she feels that it is too soon to tell. She feels that it would be nicer to feel safer or protected at this certain point in time.

However, it was a director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s attempt to bring out the alive story of a Rajput queen Rani Padmavati on the big screen with his movie ‘Padmavati’ but the movie has not got down well with the Hindi groups and has been backed by the Bharti Janta Party and other political parties.

During the shooting of the movie, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali faced much trouble while shooting of the movie, however, the protest escalated as the movie neared its release date. There are reports that the directors have included the dream, sequence of Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the movie. However, the makers of the movie have clarified many times that there is no such sequence which has been shot between the two actors.

Moreover, she talked about the protests which have surrounded the project.
