After unveiling the motion poster and premiere date a few days, the makers of Amazon Prime original Inside Edge 2 have released the first teaser of the web series. The small clip looks exciting and promises a lot of action and drama.

The series starring Tanuj Virwani, Vivek Oberoi, Angad Bedi, Richa Chadha and others will be streaming from December 6 on Amazon Prime Video.

The executive producer of the show Farhan Akhtar took to his social media account to share the teaser of the upcoming show. He wrote, “The game has only begun.  Inside Edge Season 2 out on December 6th. #InsideEdge2 #Teaser”

The first season of  Inside Edge was very well received by the audience as well as critics. The web series even got a nomination for Best Drama series at 46th International Emmy Awards. The show was Amazon Prime Video’s first Indian original series that turned out to be a successful venture.

Written and directed by Karan Anshuman (director of Bangistan), the first season of Inside Edge revolved around the Mumbai Mavericks team – a part of PPL (Powerplay T20 League), which is a fictional Indian Premier League kind of T20 cricket tournament.

The series featured a talented bunch of artists like–Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Sanjay Suri, Sayani Gupta, Tanuj Virwani, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Angad Bedi to name a few.

Actor Angad Bedi who played Captain Cool Arvind Vashist in Season 1 will get to portray a slightly different shade in the new season. The actor also took professional cricket training from  Ranji Trophy coach Vinod Raghavan.

“It’s basically the rise of the phoenix for Arvind Vashist, my character, in season two. There is a lot more cricketing action in store for me compared to the first season,” the actor said in an interview. He said that the audience will see “a man with purpose this time, a man who is extremely committed and who is coming back with vengeance.

While Karan directed Season 1, Inside Edge 2 is helmed by Aakash Bhatia. The show also includes, Sayani Gupta, Sapna Pabbi, Aamir Bashir and Sarah-Jane Dias in pivotal roles.
