Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says that he has done movies which were based on the social messages now he wants to do a movie with a horror comedy. Recently, the actor has attended the closing ceremony of the 48th International Film Festival if India (IFFI). At the event, he even spoke about the movies which he wants to do after doing a number of movies which were based on the social messages.
He very first highlighted the importance of the movies which were based on the social message. He said that he thinks that it is very important to do the movies that talk to people and the one which gives messages in a commercial way. He said that when he did a movie titled ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ along with the maker he sent a message to each and every member of the audience that it is important for every house to have a toilet. However, the makers of the movie have shown the message in a very comic way along with a message the makers of the movie have shown the love story as well.
Moreover, he said that when the documentary of the movie has been made not many people are interested in watching that so that is the main reason to make the movie with such a topic. He thinks that this topic is very much important today than ever to do something for the country and the makers have decided their best to make a movie with such a topic and they chose the best way to do it. Since he is in the industry so he wanted to show the people something new.
When he was further being asked that after doing a comedy, social and romantic movies now what next he is looking for? He said that the one genre which he is really looking forward to in the future is that he wants to do a horror movie. He loves horror comedy movie like earlier he played the role in the movie titled ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ so now he wants to work with a movie like that. He is looking for a good script.
However, it would be a very interesting to see Akshay in a horror comedy soon same like actor Ajay Devgn did in the recent blockbuster hit movie titled ‘Golmaal Again’ that movie was also a horror comedy movie. The movie which was directed and produced by the Rohit Shetty himself. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Tushar Kapoor, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra in the lead.
