The Harvard University is all set to witness yet another renowned Bollywood celebrity at its Indian Conference. And this time it’s none other than the phenomenal Irrfan Khan himself. The actor is all set to deliver a talk on ‘Disruptive Innovation in India’.

The conference is organized by the students of Harvard Business School(HBS) and Harvard Kennedy School(HKS). The event recognizes unique sets of talent that are disrupted in different fields and indulge them in a conversation with the students.

The actor has disrupted many conventional paths with his entry in Bollywood and is known for his unconventional choices of films like The Lunchbox and Paan Singh Tomar. Earlier this year he also walked away with the Best Actor Filmfare Award for his movie “Hindi Medium”. A source was reported saying “This is the first time Irrfan has been invited to give a speech at Harvard. It’s a highly prestigious platform and he will be joining the list of the brightest minds to this event.”

The 15th edition of the Indian Conference will be held in Boston this month. The conference holds a legacy for bringing together big names to discuss key issues and opportunities for India’s path to global leadership. Amartya Sen, Shashi Tharoor, P. Chidambaram, Manisha Malhotra, Karan Johar, Rajat Sharma, Vinod Rai, Navin Jindal and were among a few of the influential speakers at the earlier events.

On the work front, Irrfan Khan is said to re-unite with his Piku co-star Deepika Padukone in the upcoming Honey Trehan directorial. He will also be seen in Ronnie Screwvala’s production “Karwaan”. The project marks the Bollywood debut of South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan and Web-star Mithila Palkar.
