Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma‘s Indian romantic comedy film titled ‘Jab Harry met Sejal‘, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali flopped at the box-office by earning a sum of only Rs 64.33 crore. The movie which released in August this year performed badly at the Box office.

However, the movie has been criticised for its incoherent storyline, the story has a long runtime and even they said there is no chemistry between both the lead actors (Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan). The reviews of the movie are very poor and the negative words of mouth ultimately proved to be the fatal to the movie and it has even declared the flop at the box-office.

But, actor Shah Rukh Khan, the producer of the movie has managed to put the smile on several distributors’ faces. According to the recent reports, Shah Rukh Khan has compensated 15% of the losses to NH Studios and that and bought the distribution rights of the movie in the country at Rs 80 crore.

After the distributors asked for the help to Shah Rukh Khan following the movie’s bad performance at the box office collection and they all have requested him to do the same help what earlier Salman Khan had done after the failure of his movie titled ‘Tubelight’.

However, the movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is made on the budget of more than Rs 100 crore, but somehow the movie only managed to earn a sum of Rs 64.33 crore in the entire run. Although actor Shah Rukh Khan is not legally bound to refund the money still he decided to compensate distributors since the losses were really huge. This is not the first time when the Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has compensated the distributor for the debacle of his movies. Even he did the same in the movies like ‘Asoka’, ‘Paheli’ and even in the movie ‘Dilwale’.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for the movie titled ‘Dwarf’, which will be directed by Aanand L Rai. The movie also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
