Jabariya Jodi starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, once again gets its release date pushed further. The film which was said to release on August 2, 2019, will now be hitting the big screens on August 9, 2019; confirms film critic Taran Adarsh.

Jabariya Jodi’s plotline is based on a practice that is followed in Bihar, popularly known as the ‘Pakadwa vivah’, that is the abduction of the groom by the bride’s family and marrying them. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor, under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh Singh’s Karma Media Net, and is directed by Prashant Singh.
The songs from the film are sufficient to keep the horses of the viewers calmed for a little while. From romantic tracks to preppy party songs, we have got it all.
Sidharth and Parineeti will be sharing the screen for the second time after Hasee Toh Phasee, and have been busy in their promotions lately. The duo was spotted trying the fire pan in Delhi.
