Helmed by Atlee, ‘Thalapathy 63‘ starring Vijay is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. The film is a sports drama featuring many stars like Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, and Anandraj. According to the latest reports, the makers of ‘Thalapathy 63’ have roped in Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff to play an important role in the film.
Jackie made his Kollywood with Thiagarajan Kumaraja’s cult classic ‘Aaranya Kaandam’, has also appeared in films like ‘Mupparimanam’ and ‘Maayavan’. Currently, the senior actor is completing the shoot in Tamil film ‘Paandi Muni’, in which he plays an aghori, and ‘Walter’.
Producer Archana Kalpathi took to his Twitter to inform that the Bollywood star will also be a part of the film. “We are happy to welcome #JackieShroff Sir on board #Thalapathy63”.

The film also features actors like Yogi Babu and comedy actor Vivek in important roles in the film which is scheduled to release on Diwali 2019.
The buzz is that Reba Monica John, who played the lead in Jai’s ‘Jarugandi’, has been roped in for a role. In the film, Reba will act opposite to Kathir.
