Actor Jackie Shroff has been in the industry for almost the past four decades and is still as active and energetic.
In a recent interview with Behindwoods, he talked about Tamil actor Vijay with whom he has worked in the sports action film ‘Bigil.’
He said, “Vijay is a guy who is absolutely a decent boy, work oriented, keeping down as much as he can in his temperament.”
Jackie further went on to praise him, calling him “one of the finest actors I have ever seen”.
The actor also mentioned realised stardom of Vijay when he was going to attend the music launch of ‘Bigil’ but got stuck in the traffic as his fans were on the road. He eventually could not attend the launch.
Jackie, who is playing the villain in the film, said: “I think it’s fantastic to have worked with Vijay. I learnt a lot, I mean I saw how much I still have to learn watching such young actors with such dedication.”

‘Bigil’ is directed by Atlee and stars Vijay, Nayanthara, Vivekanandan and Jackie Shroff. It is scheduled to release on 27 October, 2019.
Jackie was last seen in the political thriller film ‘Prassthanam’, with Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala.
