Do you remember that we told you that Bachchan Pandey might get another A-list actress joining its cast? Well if you do or don’t, an A-list actress has joined Akshay Kumar upcoming gangster drama. She is Jacqueline Fernandez. With the film, this marks her fourth collaboration with Akshay and eight with producer, Sajid Nadiadwala.
Jacqueline’s friendship with Sajid Nadiadwala dates back to Housefull, in which Jaccky appeared in the song Dhanno. From then till now, their relationship has grown strong. After joining Bachchan Pandey, Jacqueline in a statement said
“I am elated to be working with him again in Bachchan Pandey, our eighth film together.”
Meanwhile a source close to the film revealed that the actress will play an important part in the film. Her role is going to drive the plot of the film forward. Details about Jacqueline’s roles are being kept under wraps.
Two days ago, Arshad Warsi had also joined the cast of the film, which will start shooting in Jaisalmer on 6th January. Director, Farhad Samji is helming the film.
Kriti Sanon is the other actress in the film who is playing the role of a journalist, aspiring to become a film director.
Apart from Bachchan Pandey, as per reports Jacqueline will also shoot for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2 opposite Salman Khan. She will start the shoot of the film as soon as she finishes Bachchan Pandey. The actress also has Bhoot Police in her kitty.
Her casting completes a formidable group of cast for the Akshay Kumar starrer which is looking like a promising film. This film surely will be one of the biggest and most anticipated films next year.
