Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Rohit Shetty‘s upcoming cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi‘. Recently, the movie created buzz with its poster release in which Akshay is seen as a cop. Makers have finally found a female lead to star opposite Akshay. According to the reports, Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in for the female lead in ‘Sooryavanshi’. Jacqueline was last seen in Salman Khan starrer ‘Race 3’.

This will be the third time when Akshay and Jacqueline will share screen space. Earlier the duo has worked together in movies like ‘Brothers’ and ‘Housefull 3’.

The film is the fourth installment of Rohit Shetty’s cop drama franchise and is slated to release on Eid this year. The franchise started with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Singham’ series, followed by Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’, which was the last blockbuster of 2018.

Earlier, there were rumors that Katrina Kaif was approached to play the female lead in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ but later Rohit said, “It’s not true’. We are still working on the script.”

This movie will mark Akshay Kumar’s first collaboration with Rohit Shetty. ‘Sooryavanshi’ will hit the screens on Eid 2020.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Anurag Singh’s war drama, ‘Kesari’ which also features Parineeti Chopra. On the other hand, Jacqueline will be next seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Drive’ starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
