It is going to be an intense period ahead for the actress, Jacqueline Fernandez. She has work that needs to be done as she starts the shooting for her upcoming films. She had started Attack alongside, John Abraham who is also producing the film, last year. The pandemic had stopped the film’s shoot midway.
During the pandemic, while staying at her friend-mentor, Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, Jacqueline signed two more films that will commence in November.
First, she has to start Bhoot Police, the horror-comedy which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam. For this, the cast and crew will travel to Dharamshala in a couple of days. Talking about this film, Jacqueline said –
“I’m super excited to kickstart Bhoot Police as it’s a different genre I will be exploring. Now, with the new normal, things are going to be very different when we are shooting, We have to finish our quarantine period and immediately head to the sets for the shoot.”
Bhoot Police will be shot in real locations in the hills for a month. The schedule will then shift to Mumbai in January before the makers call it a wrap.
Thereafter, Jacqueline has Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus to shoot. The film, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, The Comedy of Errors, stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in double roles along with Jacqueline and Pooja Hegde. That film is going to start in mid-November with shooting set to begin in Mumbai. Ooty and Goa are the other locations where the film will be shot.
Jacqueline is going to become very busy as a result and she talked about this, saying :
”After the Bhoot Police schedule, we will commence work on Cirkus. The production is figuring out the exact date,” she informs, adding that she’s excited to get back to the shoot life. “I’m gearing up again for a suitcase life; and it’s going to be that way for a long time, but I am not complaining as I will be in a happy place.”
The actress does not have time to waste as she has Kick 2 after these films. Though the first draft of Kick 2 is locked in, shooting for the film is only going to start from early 2022. The director and producer, Sajid Nadiadwala who helmed the first film will return for the sequel. While Salman Khan and Jacqueline return as a lead pair after the original 2014 film.
Indeed the time for Jacqueline has come to pull up her socks and start working on her next projects. We cannot wait to see her on the big screen again.
