Anurag Basu’s Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been by a successful fragment of controversies till now. Be it because of a leaked look of actor Govinda who was to be seen doing a cameo, a debate on who between the lead actors is the better dancer, Katrina’s refusal to work with Ranbir ever again, Ranbir’s clarification of no cold vibes between the two or Shah Rukh Khan’s doing a cameo for the film. This time, the film has again hit the headlines with something more controversial!
After the look of Govinda from the movie was leaked, the director, Anurag Basu, broke the news that, Govinda’s cameo has been cut from the movie. He said, “The picture that you see is way back from the first schedule but over the time the script changed and a lot of things changed, so his role didn’t go with the script. It was very kind of him he said yes. Anyway his was not any lead role. It was a small guest appearance. So, everyone who thinks Govinda is in the film, let me tell you he is NOT there in the film.”
But Govinda claimed that he was not informed about his role being cut. He said, “I’ve finished my work but I won’t be a part of the promotions. I’m upset with the makers for not clarifying things on my behalf. I can understand them not wanting to get dragged into a silly controversy but not reacting was not a solution. Nobody is allowed to make money by defaming me. I may forgive but I’ll never forget.”
It seems like Govinda is still upset. He has lashed out on the makers of the film for not valuing his time and effort on his Twitter account. And it is alarming to know this!
