“Jagga Jasoos” is an upcoming Indian musical adventure romantic comedy film written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Adah Sharma in lead roles, and tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father.
After releasing the ‘Ullu Ka Pattha’, ‘Galti Se Mistake’ and ‘Jhumri talaiyya’. Now, the filmmakers have released the fourth song ‘Phir wahi’ from the upcoming movie “Jagga Jasoos”, the song which is penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya, composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh.

The song shows the loving relationship of young Jagga and his father. The song narrates of Jagga, who is on the quest for his father, who seems to have left him forever.
In the movie, Jagga (Ranbir Kapoor) will be seen playing the role of a detective, who is on a mission to search for his father alongside Shruti (Katrina Kaif), who helps Jagga in his mysterious journey.
There are total 29 songs in a movie. Where you will see Ranbir Kapoor stutters throughout the film, the only time he doesn’t, is when he sings. And every time he expresses an emotion strongly, it’s through songs. Think of the effortlessness and the way the songs are featured in La La Land. They’re part of the story. And the narrative flows forward through it.
‘Jagga Jasoos‘ is all set to release om 14th July, this year.
