Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are gearing up for their Bollywood debut movie title ‘Dhadak‘ and the shooting of the movie have started today in the city of lakes, Udaipur. The movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and will be produced by Karan Johar. The movie features Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead. The movie is said to be an official remake of a Marathi blockbuster movie ‘Sairat’.
Today, Karan Johar shared a scenic photo from the surreal locales on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “The journey of #DHADAK begins today!! JAHNVI and ISHAAN …..@ShashankKhaitan.”

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jahnvi Kapoor will be the first time facing the camera with her upcoming movie ‘Dhadak’. On the other hand, Ishaan Khatter has already done a movie before ‘Beyond the cloud’, which was directed by Majid Majidi and he got an award for his performance in the movie.
Karan Johar will be producing the movie. Earlier, Karan had launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra in the Bollywood world with a movie titled ‘Student of the year’. The movie ‘Dhadak’ is said to be a remake of the movie titled ‘Sairat’, which was a love story that was set against the backdrop of casteism in rural areas of Maharashtra. The movie features Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead.
The movie ‘Dhadak’ is all set to release on July 6, next year.
