Warner Bros have taken an important decision in the wake of George Floyd’s death. The company announced that their 2019 film ‘Just Mercy’ will be free on all digital platforms in June. The film deals with the topic of racial injustice and false incarceration, making it relevant in light of current scenario.

The film stars Michael B Jordan as Bryan Stevenson who founded the Equal Justice Initiative. As Bryan, Michael helps Jamie Foxx’s Walter MacMillan to get justice. Based on Stevenson’s memoir ‘Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption’, which became an instant bestseller at the time of its release.

‘Just Mercy’ which released back in December 2019, was an important film and helped in reshaping beliefs. The film made with an inclusion rider gave a voice to the underrepresented groups. It led to major Hollywood studios considering people from minority backgrounds and their inclusion in the cast and crew of the film.
