After unveiling a number of posters in the past few days, the makers of the upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman have finally released the trailer of the film today. The trailer looks quirky and promises a funny and entertaining film.
The two minutes and thirty one seconds long video starts with veteran actor Farida Jalal revealing to his son, Saif Ali Khan, that Pammy’s son is gay who has been running away from marriage for a long time. She seems to be taunting Khan as he is also running away from marriage. He later meets Alaya F who discloses that he might be her father. We then see Alaya’s mother Tabu dressed in her “hippie” avatar. Towards the end, Khan asks Tabu she should have told him about their daughter, she could make a call. Tabu quips, “I hate phone calls”.
The makers shared the trailer on the Twitter page of Pooja Entertainment and wrote, “One brings the charm. The other adds the spice. And HE brings the party. Lets rock n roll with Jawaani Jaaneman Trailer.

Talking about his role in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Khan revealed that he is not playing father in the conventional sense. “I am not really playing a father as my character is resisting fatherhood,” he told the news daily.
While speaking about the film, Khan said, “It is a fun, naughty film and I didn’t know this side of our director Nitin Kakkar, before we started shooting. The film is about being at an age when you think you are too young but you really are not.”
Directed by Nitin Kakkar and distributed by Pen India Limited, Jawaani Jaaneman is produced by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment in association with Saif’s Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films. It is scheduled to be released on 31 January.
