Jim Sarbh has made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry by delivering several amazing performances.

In a recent interview with film critic Rajeev Masand, Jim talked about his recent release, the Netflix Original film ‘House Arrest.’

When asked about what interested him into doing this film, he responded: “Well when I read the script, its like it played out in my head, like an Edgar Wright film. It played out like ‘Shawn of the Dead’, or ‘Hot Fuzz’ or ‘The Worlds End’.”

Further adding, “I hadn’t done a comedy, I thought this would be fun to do that.”

Check out the interview:

Jim played the role of JD, the best friend of Karan who goes into a self-imposed house arrest and isolates himself from the world.

It was directed by Shashank Ghosh and author Samit Basu and released on Netflix on 15 November. The film met with mostly mixed reviews from critics.

Apart from films, Jim has been also very active in theaters and often does several plays in English language that are well received.

Jim was earlier seen this year playing a teacher in Riteish Batra’s romantic film ‘Photograph’, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra.

His role as a cunning businessman Adil Khanna in the Amazon Prime web series ‘Made In Heaven’ was well received.

Jim is now a days busy with the shooting of the suspense thriller ‘Taish’, directed by Bejoy Nambiar and co-starring Neha Sharma, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat.
