Juhi Aslam: I am glad that I have not been stereotyped because of my height!

Juhi Aslam is an Indian actress. She is four feet tall, broke the stereotype of the quintessential television heroine when she made her debut in a show ‘Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo’. Currently, Juhi is playing the role of ‘Chhoto Bua’ in “Badho Bahu”, which is an Indian Hindi drama romantic television series. The show premiered on September 12, 2016. “Badho Bahu” is produced by Sunny Side Up and Hum Tum Tele-Films Private Limited of Deepti Kalwani and Teenna Swayyam and Sushant Kumar.

The makers of the show say that they have roped her in just to spread the message that every woman is perfect irrespective of her shape and size. The makers just wanted somebody who is very confident about her body for the show.

Talking about her journey in the Television industry, Juhi said, “I had never planned to be a part of showbiz. Acting happened by chance and after Baba…, I wanted to resume my studies, but a few offers prompted me to stay put. I am aware that it’s difficult to get a role like the one I played in Baba… once again, so I take up whatever piques my interest. There may be people who say that my career has gone downhill, but I am glad that I have not been stereotyped because of my height. People approach me for my acting calibre; or else, anybody could have played the parts I have essayed so far.”
