Juhi Chawla to present TV show 'Sharanam'!

An Indian actress Juhi Chawla is all set to introduce a new television show. This show marks India’s spiritual diversity and heritage through television series titled ‘Sharanam’ and Juhi is very happy that she is associated with an offbeat project.

This series of the show is said to be a voiceover-led and Juhi will be giving her voice in that show. Juhi’s emotive voice will surely be going to add an extra edge to the breathtaking locales which are captured on the camera.

Juhi said that she has done a television show before, but this is an offbeat project so this is very new for her. She said when the director narrated her the story. She found the concept very exciting and a much needed. Our country India has been a diverse country with a variety of faiths co-exciting and she says that it is very interesting to try and find and understand what it is in faith that moves and involves them.

She says that the show has already traveled the length and the breadth of the country from Hemis monastery in Ladakh to Velankanni in the South and from Somnath in the West to Kamakhya in the East. The whole show has been shot beautifully and the stories of the people are heart-wrenching and uplifting in the same breath.

The show ‘Sharanam’ has a tagline saying  ‘Safar Vishwaas Ka which means the journey of faith and they aims at the evoking sense of spiritual insight through a coverage of prominent pilgrimage places in India. The show will feature in the 26 parts and television series are scheduled to air in November. The show will cover Nizamuddin Dargah, Golden Temple, Velankani Church, Murdeshwara, and Sarnath, and many other pilgrim sites.
