As the due date for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, one of the most awaited movie of the year, approaches, Universal Pictures’ decision to release the movie early in some countries was subjected to minor changes. As of 26th May, Universal Pictures India has confirmed that the sequel to Jurassic World will release all over the screens of India on the 7th of June, 2018, rather than the previously announced date of 8th June. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will bear witness to the comeback of many original members of the cast and crew, like Steven Spielberg, Jeff Goldblum, and most of the cast of Jurassic World, the movie which made 147 crores in the Indian box office back in 2015.

The fact that the release date of such an awaited science fiction has been brought forward by one day, allows Universal Pictures India to release Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on a Thursday, coinciding perfectly with the release of domestic movie Kaala, starring Rajinikanth. The company has also stated that the movie will be released on over 2300 screens in India, and along with the original English audio, versions of the movie dubbed in local languages like Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu will also be shown. Upon getting this new release date of 7th June, India has now joined the club of many European countries like the United Kingdom, Russia, and Germany, all of whom will witness the epic comeback of the Jurassic World saga on the same date. However, despite these early releases, Universal Pictures remains fixed on their move to release Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in their home country, the United States, two weeks later, on the 22nd of June, 2018.
