The episode begins with Naren Sippy blaming Sonakshi for leaking the truth about Pooja that she’s adopted. Sonakshi desperately tries to defend herself and phones Tapasya to clarify the misunderstanding. But Tapasya refuses to take the blame for the leak, and instead accuses Sonkashi for directing the anger toward her. Tapasya only published the comments as they were spoken by Sonakshi. Naren is angered by this conversation and begins to insult Sonakshi by calling her attention hungry and deliberately trying to destroy Pooja’s life. Rohan joins Naren in humiliating Sonakshi. Veena tries to understand Sonakshi’s pleas but she reasons that nobody knew that Pooja was adopted except Sonakshi, who has access to media.
YK goes to Pooja’s room and tries to distract her from looking at her phone because people are already texting and calling her about the shocking revelation. He then drops her phone in a bowl of water, thus, making it defective.
Rohit defends Sonakshi against his family and warns his father against scolding his wife. He trusts Sonakshi, and knows that she’ll never do anything to hurt Pooja or anyone. YK comes in, and says that Pooja should stay with Sonakshi for a few days because only she can shield her from the news. Naren angrily tries to reject the idea, but YK reminds him that he’s Pooja’s father. Sonakshi accepts to take Pooja to the set.
At the set, Sonakshi talks to her mother, who’s very excited by the drama. Sonakshi also makes sure that Pooja doesn’t buy a new phone.
Rohit visits Tapasya’s office and offers her sweets. Tapasya notices that the sweets taste very different, to which Rohit replies that they’re poisoned. Tapasaya begins to experience the effects of the poison. Rohit says that he has an antidote for the poison but he’ll only give it to her if she tells him the truth. Tapasya finally reveals that Pari told him the truth about Pooja’s adoption. Rohit is disgusted, and reveals to her that the sweets were not poisoned.
