The episode begins with Sonakshi and Netra having an argument over if Sonakshi should leave the shooting early to attend the dinner held in Sundari’s honor. A brief flashback takes us back to the preparation for the dinner. Sonakshi is on the show set, and phones Rohit to remind him to tell Veena that she’ll be late. Rohit gives Sonakshi full assurance, but then he receives a phone call from the hospital, about a patient who is in critical condition and leaves in a hurry. Veena and Tanya go for shopping, and Veena says that Sundari is Naren’s distant relative. Sundari is always showing off her superiority because her mother helped Naren’s mother in the past.

Rohit examines the patient and finds out that she has a rupture in her heart, which means he’ll have to perform a surgery immediately. Suman talks to Veena and explains to her that Sonakshi got her share of holidays for the wedding and has to go back to the set to work.

On the set, Sonakshi is getting desperate about leaving early. She talks to Rohit, who angrily tells her to stop disturbing him because he’s busy with an emergency operation. Sonakshi talks to Netra about leaving early, but Netra points out the decline in the show’s TRP last month, which is why they have to complete the schedule. Sonakshi pleads with her, and makes concessions. Netra finally says its Sonakshi’s choice if she chooses to go or stay, and that her family responsibilities are going to have adverse effects on her career.

At home, Veena is unhappy with Sonakshi’s decision to go for the shooting. Sundari arrives, and sits with the family members for a chat. She behaves very obnoxiously toward them, and also demeans Akash’s work as a chef. Veena gets angrier by the minute as Sundari continues to throw barbs at her family. Finally, when it seems that Veena will have to face the humiliation for the absence of her daughter in law, Sonakshi appears upstairs, ready for the dinner.

Tomorrow: Sundari leaves the dinner table because of Sonakshi’s behavior.
