‘Baazigar’ was directed by Abbas-Mustan and starred Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty. It was released on 12 November, 1993.
The film proved to be Kajol’s first commercial success who had earlier appeared in the 1991 film ‘Bekhudi.’
‘Baazigar’ was a major critical and commercial success and was the first film with the famous Kajol-Shah Rukh pair.
The pair has been part of various successful films in their career like ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.’
Kajol is currently busy filming for the Netflix film ‘Tribhanga’ directed by actor Renuka Shahne in he directorial debut and co-starring Mithila Palkar.
She will be also seen in the historical period drama ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, directed by Om Raut and co-starring Ajay Devgn.
