On the work front, Kajol was last seen making a cameo appearance in Aanand L. Rai’s 2018 comedy drama ‘Zero’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
She had played the role of single mother Eela Raitukar in Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Helicopter Eela’.
Kajol had made her acting debut in 1992 with Rahul Rawail’s ‘Bekhudi’, it was followed by her appearance in Abbas-Mustan’s thriller ‘Baazigar’. The film was a massive success and Kajol and Shah Rukh collaborated later on many films.
They reunited with Shah Rukh in Aditya Chopra’s classic romantic film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, which is one of the most successful Indian films of all time.
Kajol then played the villain in the thriller ‘Gupt: The Hidden Truth’, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Villain.
She has also appeared in films like ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Fanaa’ and ‘My Name Is Khan.’
