The makers of ‘Kalank‘ took to Twitter to announce the trailer launch and shared the first look of Aditya Roy Kapur from the movie. With a hashtag, “Men Of Kalank” it is expected that all the male characters will be introduced in the same manner before the trailer launches today.

The upcoming period drama is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Music has been given by Pritam while Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainments are the distributing companies of the film.
This film is Karan Johar and Abhishek Varman’s ambitious project. The film was conceptualized by Karan Johar and his father Yash Johar around fifteen years ago. The period drama film is set against the partition and Indian independence struggle in the 1940s. Actress Sridevi was initially signed for the character role played by Madhuri Dixit.
