On International Women’s Day, the makers of ‘Kalank‘ has decided to introduce the “Women Of Kalank” after introducing all the male characters yesterday.
One of the producers Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the first look of Madhuri Dixit Nene as Bahaar Begum from the movie. The trailer of the highly anticipated movie is also expected to drop in sometime soon.

The producers introduced all the male characters of the film yesterday on various social media platforms with the hashtag “Men Of Kalank”. Starting with Varun Dhawan’s Zafar, Karan later presented Aditya Roy Kapoor’s Dev Chaudhry and lastly Sanjay Dutt’s Balraj Chaudhry.

The upcoming period drama is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Music has been given by Pritam while Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainments are the distributing companies of the film.
This film is Karan Johar and Abhishek Varman’s ambitious project. The film was conceptualized by Karan Johar and his father Yash Johar around fifteen years ago. The period drama film is set against the partition and Indian independence struggle in the 1940s. Actress Sridevi was initially signed for the character role played by Madhuri Dixit.
