The Indian actress and writer Kalki Koechlin says that she is looking forward to the decision of new CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi. The central government has appointed Prasoon Joshi as the chairman of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) along with a newly appointed member Vidya Balan.
About the same Kalki said, “Congratulations to both Prasoon Joshi and Vidya Balan. It’s wonderful to have such respectable members of our film community on the board. I am looking forward to their opinions and decisions.” Along with that actress, Vidya Balan also appointed as a part of the reconstituted Central Board of Film Certification.
Yesterday, Kalki was in the national capital to launch the teaser for her upcoming film titled “Jia Aur Jia” along with Richa Chadha, which is directed by Howard Rosemeyer.
The movie shot in Sweden and the movie will revolve around two women with completely different personalities. The movie is said to be a women-centric drama in which bold Kalki and Richa will be seen playing the bold roles. Kalki Koechlin will play a quirky, fun, girl, while Richa’s character would be strict, monitoring Kalki. After a long list of Bollywood bromance now it’s time for some girls buddy film. The movie also features mystery guy Frank M Ahearn, which will be seen romancing with Kalki’s character.
Ex-chairman of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Pahlaj Nihalani, which was sacked on August 11 due to the radar for the recent cuts and censorship in movies. Now, Prasoon Joshi will be taking the charge for the next three years.
