Kanchan Mullick is a Bengali film and television actor. He has acted in movies like “Mahakaal” and “Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona.” He has also worked with the theater group “Swapnasandhani.”
Currently, Kanchan is playing a key role in the movie titled “Dhananjoy”, which is directed by Arindam Sil and produced by SVF Entertainment. The movie features Anirban Bhattacharya in Dhananjoy’s role. The movie is based on ‘The conviction of Dhananjoy Chatterjee’, where Kanchan says that he was feeling claustrophobic while shooting for the same.
At the recent interview, Kanchan says, “In this film, I have played the character of a public prosecutor. After working in it, I had wanted to know about the last day of my shooting because I was feeling claustrophobic. In the film, we have just talked about certain facts but think about the man (Dhananjoy) who actually went through all this…” He added, “A few questions have been raised in the film. I would say that watch the film and think about those questions.” Kanchan is very popular for essaying comedy roles in the Bengali flicks says that he is glad that he is part of this project.
The film is slated to release on 11th August.
