Enough is enough. That is what Actor, Kangana Ranaut felt after facing abuses from the Shiv Sena. All this forced her on Monday to leave Mumbai and go back to her home state, Himachal Pradesh. She said that she felt “terrorized with constant threats and abuses” while backing her analogy comparing Mumbai to Pakistan as “bang on”.

Taking a flight to Chandigarh, she then traveled by road to reach Manali. Coming back home, the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur welcomed her. He also took a jibe towards the ruling government in, Maharashtra for harassing Kangana.

A few days back, Kangana visited Mumbai, when on the same day, her Bandra bungalow-cum-office was demolished for ” illegal alterations” by the Shiv Sena controlled, BMC.

She moved the case to the Bombay High Court, who stayed the demolition. Her comments comparing Mumbai with Pakistan had rubbed wrongly with the Shiv Sena. It led to a public dispute between them, which caught steam after her Bungalow was demolished.

On Monday, she took to Twitter and wrote :

” With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrorised all these days constant attacks and abuses hurled at me attempts to break my house after my work place, alert security with lethal weapons around me, must say my analogy about POK was bang on.”

Further, in her tweet, she termed the ruling party as “destroyers” posing as protectors. Accusing them of destroying democracy, she further wrote, “But they are wrong to think I’m weak. By threatening and abusing a woman, they are ruining their own image.”

This incident follows Kangana’s comments she made, about Mumbai. In the wake of actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, she criticized the handling of the case by the Maharashtra govt and Police.

The situation indeed is murky.
