The wait is over, two grand biopics, Kangana Ranaut‘s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi‘ and Nawazuddin Siddiqui‘s ‘Thackeray‘ are all set to release on 25 January and this clash will definitely create a storm at the box office as both of them are highly anticipated.

Thackeray:

Unfolding the real story of Balasaheb Thackeray’s courage, wisdom & indomitable truth, the film is all set to release this week in Marathi and Hindi. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the titular role and Amrita Rao as Thackeray’s wife.

Based on the life of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, the film is helmed by Abhijit Panse and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, Varsha Sanjay Raut, Purvashi Sanjay Raut, and Vidhita Sanjay Raut. The story is written by Sanjay Raut.

Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi

Indian biographical period drama is based on the life the queen of Jhansi Rani Laxmi Bai. Kangana Ranaut is in the lead role and she has also directed the movie along with Krish. The film is produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.

The film explores the proudest chapter of Indian History. It showcases the life of the first woman who set an example of women empowerment and whose story we all have heard or read at some point in our life.

Mansukh Chaturvedi ki Atmakatha:

There is one more surprise element this week for the moviegoers. ‘Mansukh Chaturvedi ki Atmakatha’ stars Sandeep Singh in the lead role and Sikander Khan and Monika in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to release on January 26, 2019.

The light comedy family film is directed by Sachin Gupta and produced by Sachin Gupta and Sushma Gupta.
